Sp...I have also read Choosing to See... great book! Speaking of crying while reading... I have NEVER cried like I cried when I read Same Kind of DIfferent As Me this summer... like ugly, ugly cry... it is a gem of a book! I just finished up A Praying Life... SO, SO good. Prayer is one of my "things" and I tend to devour any book I can find on the subject. If you are looking for something fun you gotta read the Hunger Games... I put it off for so long, but it really is good. Heaven is for Real was a cute book too, wasn't it?! :) Okay ENOUGH! :)Katie and Justin Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03949133543039932844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8314698659797578340.post-79007518216170079862011-12-19T17:07:27.115-06:002011-12-19T17:07:27.115-06:00glad yall all like choosing to see as much as me! ...glad yall all like choosing to see as much as me! dang it's a good one! and thanks for the book suggestions....can't wait to get to reading more in 2012!Wynne Elderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12829462871865146003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8314698659797578340.post-30322775626661278552011-12-19T15:18:50.570-06:002011-12-19T15:18:50.570-06:00choosing to see... bawled my way through that one!...choosing to see... bawled my way through that one!!I can't wait to read " start something that matters"... sounds like one I will LOVE!Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13481930991215306755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8314698659797578340.post-12433618679307245952011-12-19T13:45:10.260-06:002011-12-19T13:45:10.260-06:00I cried all the way through "Choosing to See&...I cried all the way through "Choosing to See". I stayed up all night to finish it and I agree, I discovered that what I was missing in my thinking about Jesus was the best part: HIS GRACE.

Interrupted is next on my list.

Also recently finished "Girls Like Us", about the sex trafficking industry in America. Reading those girls' stories just re-inforced that desire for God's grace, for all of us.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840768976050206912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8314698659797578340.post-59310053825158108622011-12-19T13:41:39.054-06:002011-12-19T13:41:39.054-06:00i recently read "choosing to see" and i ...i recently read "choosing to see" and i cried so so much. my dad died suddenly maybe less then a year before they lost maria... when i heard the news on the radio, it literally took my breath away. chapter after chapter of her book, i was just thinking, "me too, me too, me too!!!"

incredible book.

right now i'm reading "comforts from the cross" by elyse (?) fitzpatrick. it's a book for women about the gospel, how it relates to your ordinary daily life, and it's in short chapters - one for each day. so good! the next book i want to read (it's sitting on my nightstand!) is "bloodlines" by john piper.

can you tell i love to read?? :)staceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15687549075697912225noreply@blogger.com
