Friends!

I am SO BEHIND on blogging.  As you know I was in Colorado last week and when I got home I had great intentions of blogging, but I crashed.  So, here's a little update:

Training was GREAT, it was a lot of training (obviously), but also a lot of bonding and reflection time.  We started off every morning with worship and usually had it 2-3 times per day.  The "trainers" all gave awesome talks, we learned how to write a 3 minute testimony, etc.  I was really nervous going into it, but I felt everyones prayers.  I had a great time and really felt like I learned more about what God is doing in my life and how I can more be a part of it.  I know that sounds silly, but when He calls us to do something it's easy to just think that we can't possibly do that.  But, it's with God's STRENGTH that we can accomplish His will and plans for us on earth.  I wish I could write out every cool story that happened at training, but I'll just say that our God is BIG but He also cares about the little things.  If we ASK Him to be with us, to speak through us, even if we ask Him to provide the right person to talk to at a certain time - He will do it!  It's amazing to me how many opportunities He gives us each and every day to love on the people around us and to really speak love and truth into their lives and how many times we don't do it.  He will do nothing but bless us if we take that calling, no matter how big or small, to obey Him.  He is so faithful!  I was greatly encouraged by the amazing people from all over the country that we there and from the people on our team in Midland.  Having people I'm close to at training really helped me.  They were also SO SWEET to my on my birthday. Everyone sang me happy birthday in the morning and I was flooded with calls, texts, facebook posts, and emails all day.  I truly felt blessed all day!  My sweet husband sent me flowers and they delivered them to my training room!  That was so special.  You will see pictures of the decorating they did in my room...ALL day long I was spoiled.  I have never felt so special before by everyone I knew it seemed.  So, thank you for all of you who made me feel so special on my 25th birthday!

Training was over on Wednesday and we traveled home, I took a 3 hour nap, then got up and got ready for my birthday dinner that my sweet husband and my sweet friend Jordan planned for me!!  It was so much fun to see friends and keep the celebrating going....they were all so sweet to come!!!  I also was blown away by sweet gifts this year - I have too many sweet friends!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who made my birthday so special.
