busy/lonley week

Do those two words go together? Ha. Stephen was out of town ALL WEEK & so was my boss - so during the day I was very lonely. However, I did love getting to work from home & be on my own schedule. The week is not yet over & I feel very accomplished. It was rainy in Midland all week & I thoroughly enjoyed my mornings - yoga 2 days this week, sitting in the living room w/ music on the tv, candles lit, lamps on, dogs sleeping nearby with coffee in hand and book in lap. I loved it. I am going to miss that next week - or I just need to get up earlier.

The nights are when it gets busy! Monday night Julie came over to help me with my LOGO :) we are almost done....so so excited & ready to blog all about what is coming for me & my photography.

Tuesday my good friend Alex & I went location scouting! we drove all around midland & took some test shots for her upcoming senior session! She is an amazing photographer herself & the fact that she asked me to do her senior portraits was the biggest compliment! she gave me some great ideas for other shoots as well! Isn't she beautiful? seriously- test shots and this is what I got!

Then she came over & helped me with BOB ARMSTRONG DIP! Bob is my favorite thing from my favorite restaurant in Austin, Matts famous el Rancho. It was for our Teen CBS leadership progressive dinner & it was a HUGE hit. the appetizer part was at my house & it was fun, I love to host! and to show off my precious puppy boy :) the whole night was a success!

Wednesday night my girlfriends got together & had a little birthday dinner for me! Although my birthday isn't until next week - it was a fun chance to celebrate since Stephen was out of town. we went to a fun casual pizza place & had a great time gabbing, laughing, and EATING! I am just blown away by the relationships God has give me these past 2 years in midland. hard to believe I did NOT want to move here & just this week I had a birthday dinner with 9 of my favorite friends! God is so good! Thank you girls for celebrating with me!!

Thursday night was Bunko night! Not everyone could come this month & we ended up not playing but we had a great time eating dinner & chatting! we stayed over @ shannon's late looking at pictures on facebook & counting how many friends we have in midland that are preggo - 17 that we could count! always a fun time with the girls!

SO GLAD STEPHEN IS HOME! We had a great weekend of relaxing, movie marathon & fun brunch with the girls. Today is Sunday & I am shooting my first ever Senior session! I am very very excited!
