Here's to four years!

Last week was Stephen & I's 4 year wedding anniversary. We took a little trip to Horseshoe Bay where it all got started. Well, first we went straight to the Apple store in Austin where we purchased the new iMac that I'm typing on now. Oh how exciting! This computer has revolutionized my life and my business. I'm not joking. My hunny is so sweet and this is another example of his selflessness towards me in wanting me to succeed and to have the tools I need. After 2 hours at the Apple store, we had a yummy dinner in the Domain at North & then grabbed our first peppermint mocha of the season and headed to the lake. It was so fun that night to pop in our wedding video and watch the rehearsal dinner footage! We have some amazing friends & family members who love us so much and it was so fun to look back and re-visit their encouragement to us, love for us and funny stories too :)

On our actual anniversary Stephen had planned a whole day at Lake Austin Spa for both of us! He said he had other plans but when he saw how exhausted and tired we both were from working so hard he decided to treat us to a spa day! I have THE most thoughtful husband on the planet. We had our own little outdoor area just for us with a hot tub. We had a massage, an aloe wrap, foot reflexology and lunch. The best part was just getting to relax with my best friend. We walked down to the lake and sat in silence on the hammocks for a while and I was just praising my Jesus for this man that He made just for me. Praising Him for the 4 years we have had together and the 40+ more we will have. I know this next year of our life will be a time of waiting & I was trying to prepare myself for this next season of life.

Every year I make a photo album of pictures from big events from the past year & I'm a little behind and haven't made it yet but I've started looking through pictures and it's SAD! THere are hardly ANY pictures of Stephen & I together. All of my pictures from this past year are of other people. So today I am going to Target to buy a Nikon CoolPics camera to put in my purse so I can snap pics of Stephen and I! It's hard to do a self portrait with my huge dslr. It's sad that our live isn't documented very well in photos right now but I am to fix that :) {the picture at the top is the best I could do - photos of each of us, but not together! sad!}

I have just come to appreciate and love my husband so much more than I did the day I married him. I am honored to go through this life with him and look forward to becoming parents together. When he's not here, I am just not the same. He truly is my other half, my soul mate, my best friend and I just love him so much and celebrate the union that God gave to us! Love you babe!
