House Work

Stephen and I stayed home this weekend and WORKED and rested a lot!  Our Friday night consisted of prepping the living room for paint, eating at Rosas, making a quick trip to Lowe's and Home Depot, painting the living room and watching a movie!  What a great date night!

Saturday was pretty lazy, but we finally got our butt's in gear and got to work - we did a lot of yard work!!!  I became obsessed with spray painting and spray painted our outdoor furniture, a flower pot, little table on porch, mirror, and other piece that we hang hats/purses on!  It was CRAZY!  We also attended our first Midland wedding - Reagan and Danny!  It was a beautiful wedding, congrats!  I was however having serious missing Waco syndrome!  My thoughts were with my fave Scar and her mom who got remarried this weekend!  I wish we could have been there to celebrate!  Congrats Pam and Mike!

Here are some pics - I'll have to post some of the "after pics" once we are done landscaping the front yard.  Enjoy!
Ok this is the living room!!  We painted it sage green!  Obviously, everything is off the walls still and the furniture is just all in the middle of the room - but you get the idea of the color!  I need some HELP - I want to get curtains, hang something above the mantel and get some new accessories - what color's do yall think go with this sage green color?!?!?  PLEASE, PLEASE let me know if you have any bright ideas!!!  Thank yoU!!

  1. It looks so good! Is that the color of our front room? Don't you love it?

  2. It looks great! I can't tell for sure the colors in the rug, but with the couch and rug I'd stay with warm toned colors. Warmer (light mustard) yellows or blues/greens that have brownish undertones maybe... Good luck!

  3. Thanks for the shoutout Wynne! We missed you tons- wasn't the same without you, of course.
But, so happy you had a productive weekend!

Love the Sage- Brownish Warm tones would work best I think with your rug and furniture.
