friends & Rockhounds

We had a lot of fun events with friends this week, so I just had to recap with a few photos :)

Sunday night was Elements service at our church & our sweet friend Grayson was dedicated to the Lord. What a special moment it was for his parents & the rest of us who were there to witness it. This got me thinking - you know how we all have "family friends" that we have known forever and ever? Well it's fun to think that Stephen & I are making our very own "family friends". I keep telling my befri Allison that I am Grayson's paparazzi but really how fun will it be later on in life to be able to remember being at all of the important events in his life. I told her last night that I hope one day when he gets married some of my photos make the rehearsal dinner slide show :)

And I feel the same way about our dear friends the Bledsoes! This is their sweet KK (Kaityln) and I was SO EXCITED that this Sunday she finally said my name!!! She has been saying "Stevo" for quite some time now - but Sommer said when we left she said, "mommy, where did Wynne & Stevo go" aww! that just melts my heart! So fun to be making our own family friendships that are rooted in Christ and will last a lifetime.

Wednesday night we went to dinner with some friends for Cinco de Mayo! Any reason to get together during the week & eat good food and catch up. The only photo I got was of Kaitlyn chewing on her lemon :) Fun times fun times!

Last night we went to the Rockhounds game with friends for our good friend Luke's birthday! {you know this made this baseball fan VERY EXCITED!} His wife Julie did a great job or organizing & getting us great seats and she even arranged for the guys to do the DIZZY BAT race after the bottom of the 4th. It was hilarious & I of coarse asked to go on the field with them to capture the moment.
Luke & James vs Stephen & Will

Luke & James won!
Sorry for the strange face my husband is making - he said he was still dizzy!

Oh and don't worry that Grayson was there & I was there to document his first ever baseball game! This is a big deal! His daddy played college baseball & I have no doubt that Grayson will be a stud athlete just like his dad!

{couldn't decide! loved the color & black and white!}

Such a great time hanging out with friends this week! Beautiful weather, baseball &Mexican food - what more could you want?

  1. Wynne- just found your blog- you are an amazing photographer! I wish that we lived closer so that you could take some pictures of our family! Maybe in a year or so, we will be back in Texas!

    Glad y'all are doing well!
