prayers for my boys.

These are my boys.
My Korah boys. God is so detailed and I've said it before but I love how within the first 30 minutes of being on the streets of Korah, I had my crew. (I always thought I'd be a good "boy mom") I spent quite a bit of time with these boys & every day when I got there my eyes and heart went searching for them. It was a joy to get to hug their necks, hold their hands, jump up & down and praise with them, re-do a home with some of them, and just talk with them. My friend Sarah, whom I met via facebook post-Africa, she is one of my Korah sisters ;) Well, she's headed to Ethiopia now to surprise these kids at school! So I had to send a little something with her for my boys.

God gave me this vision while we were in Colorado, something about the mountains that gives me clear vision, to have a scripture that I prayed over each of them this year. I had just gone to Michael's to get these leather bracelets, that my sister Chloe made for us for Africa, to write scriptures on. I love mine & thought I'd come up with someone who would also want one. So I decided to make them each one with a different scripture that I wanted to pray over them.

Again, in Colorado God gave me the verse for each of them and I wrote them on their bracelet and sent them each a note with her. Thought I'd share in case any of you were looking for ideas for your sponsor child ;)

Yohannes
"Be strong in the Lord & the strength of His might"
