the itch to go.

I've been feeling "the itch"
to GO.

a group of women from our church left this past Saturday morning for a week in a small village called El Sunza, in El Salvador.  This was the very trip I took last spring break that exploded my heart for missions.

It's hard to believe that since that trip I've been......

{stayed an extra week in Ethiopia with a team from Project 61, January 2012}

and have been home since January 12th.

I haven't stayed home longer than 3 months since last spring break and I am ready to get back to Africa!

There are still so many things up in the air for our summer, mainly when our court date will be!!!!, so I just ask that you would PRAY.  I've been, like Jesus Calling said today, "waiting, trusting, and hoping".  Asking God to use me.  To guide me.  To make the timing perfect for me to go back.

I'm sort of nervous to even type out the plan because only the Lord knows the timing and what will happen - but God willing after Stephen and I go to our court date in Ethiopia, I plan to stay in country for a bit and work with Project 61 in Korah.

It's a dream.  and because it's a dream, I want to be cautious.  trusting God and not trying to make my own plans.  praying He goes before me and makes a way.  thoughts of spending a summer in Ethiopia kept me up all night.  my mind is flooded with thoughts and emotions and prayers.  will you pray with me?  that God would send me (and Stephen!!!) on His time.  and that we would give it all to Him and put it in his hands.

so many stories to continue telling from my last trip.
I'm not anywhere near done & I can't wait to tell them to you.
so stay tuned.

in the mean time, if you are considering going on a trip....why not look into the Visiting Orphans trip to work with Project 61 in Korah June 30 - July 8th.

check it out here

you'd get to hang out with me Lord willing :)
