today I had time alone with my babies for the first time.
2 babies.
I sat on the floor of the transition home with one in my lap & one in my arms and prayed and prayed.
and cried.
and worshiped.
and told them all about their jesus.
and kissed their faces off.
tears of joy streamed down my face.
they are ours.
jesus has entrusted them to us to love.
I sang so many worship songs that have meant so much to us during this process over them today -
but singing "bring our children home" by billy & cindy foote was the sweetest.
"when we cannot see you moving & it seems the dark has won, may you find us still believing that YOU want this more than us. you will FINISH what you started & your plans for us are GOOD. help us cling to what you promised - you are faithful you are sure to BRING OUR CHILDREN HOME!"
will you pray BIG with us that we hear something BIG on stephen's birthday? (august 5th!)
praying for interviews at embassy to be complete & for our embassy interview to be set!
praying & believing for BIG THINGS!
if you really want to cry, watch Billy & Cindy Footes video for this song:
Tears of joy in my eyes. Adoption is such a high calling.
